Early School Closing
If it should be necessary to close school before the usual time, it is important for your child to know what to do. This is especially important if both parents work and there is no one to look after your child if there is an early dismissal. Please discuss this possibility with your child. If you wish he/she to do something other than what they usually do at the end of a normal school day, please make certain your child understands any such arrangements. At the opening of school each September, forms will be sent home so you can have your wishes in writing and on file in the main office. All after school activities are cancelled when school is dismissed early.

Snow Days
If snow has fallen heavily during the night and you wonder if schools will be open or closed, turn on the television and watch one of the following stations: Channel 3, Channel 5, Channel 9, or Channel 10. All local broadcasters have the news by 6:00 AM. Local news channel websites and some radio stations are other good resources. Please do not call the school or Bus Garage asking if school is closing early or will be closed. This ties up the lines when we are trying to gather additional information to notify people of school closing or early closing. As soon as any decision is made it will be on all of the above stations. Your cooperation in this matter will be very much appreciated.
